Hardworking (that is, hyperactive) and prolific (that is, nondiscriminating) artist (asshole) that I am, I'm always adding new images to my flickr photostream. Photomontages, collages, "altered images", that sort of thing; and I gotta say, flickr's a great place for someone like me, who's constantly turning out new stuff, and needs a place to show it off! Other than that, though, the best thing about flickr is that it's given me the chance to make contact with lots of like-minded people: trannies, photographers, other collage artists, people who love pop art as much as I do... Some of these cats I've been hooking up with are real talented, and if you're looking for a visual fix, you could do a lot worse than check out the works of...oh G*d, there's so many, there's no way I can name them all in one go! For the moment, I'll settle for giving PrettySick-sized shout-outs to the likes of { Stephanie }, fearlessvk, Siobhan Curran, trasformatore, Erika Baarova and Gwen Purrr Rocker; cool people and cool artists to a tranny/man/woman!

Bridget Love.

The PrettySick prize for psycho-fabulousness in the areas of art, glamour and motherfucking hardcore coolness, however, has to go to the fantastic sixties/futuro pop art of the insanely talented Bridget Love, who I first became aware of via Becky Enveritie's website. Intrigued and impressed by the works on show there (not least the portrait of Ms. Enveritie, used by the lady herself as her flickr buddy icon), I decided to go take a look at Ms. Love's flickrstream...and as soon as I saw the beautifully conceived, beatifically executed works on show there, I thought to myself, 'man! This is one cat I just have to get to know!' So, without waiting a moment longer, I fired off an email to Ms. Love, telling her how great I thought her stuff was, how powerfully space-age/romantically Valentine I considered it to be (crawl, crawl); and only a few days later, what did I receive but an email from the artist herself, thanking me for my kind words, and letting me know that if I wished to see more of her stuff, I should make my way on over to: www.chibalove.com, where I could indulge myself to my cerebellum's content! (Ms. Love also said that she thought my own artwork was pretty damn good as well! *ahem...*)

"Archetype" (2007). Collaboration between Bridget Love and Luis Drayton.

Well, I've since paid a visit to: chibalove.com, and what did I think? Let the following words ring out from the pretty, pretty lips of Luis Drayton like an erect something ringing against the inside of a church bell: this is one site you have just gotta check out! Acre upon acre of fabuloso imagery, and all of it from the pen of Ms. Love (operating here in the guise of "Chiba Love", artist extraordinaire currently residing on the candy-coloured, robot and goddess-infested "Planet Love"; orbiting satellite of art, romance, general grooviness and block-rockin' beats)! Virtual heaven or what? And all of it pink... Hell, I really wish I could say more about this fabulous lady (and she really is one beautiful glamourpussy, let me tell you!); but for once, words fail me completely! (Bet you wish it was a little more often than that...) Allow me then, to finish off this little eulogy by saying that if you aren't yet in on the secret, you sure as hell should be! So why don't you just put on some Portishead, insert a Love Heart in every orifice, and then get your ass on over to Planet Love; and you too can immerse yourself in the eyelash-flutteringly, tongue-droolingly, heart-achingly parallel universe of that angel of the airbrush, mistress of the Magic Marker, Goddess of the graduated Pantone paper, the divine Ms. Bridget Love!
